A Spring Wedding in Hunt, Texas — Abigail + Mitchell

A clearing in Hunt, Texas. Oaks taller than you'd expect, a river running quietly nearby, hills rolling out past the tree line. A white aisle of chairs set out under the canopy, ready for everyone to arrive.

Abigail and Mitchell got married here this spring, on a cloudy afternoon. Everyone they love, in one place, under the oaks.

Before the ceremony, there was a slow stretch with family and friends. A moment for her dad to see her for the first time in her dress. Toasts with her best friends right before they headed out of the house. And then the first look — Abigail and Mitchell on either side of a corner, not looking, just holding hands.

During the ceremony, Abigail's mom gave a speech that the whole row in front of me was crying through.

Later, we walked out into the field for a few portraits at sunset. The light was perfect. And they? They were laughing the whole time.
